The Winnipeg Freeze have Auto-Protected Gage Sutherland & Brenden Espenell ahead of the 2023 MJHL Draft on June 4th.

Both defencemen spent last season with the Winnipeg Wild U18 AAA.

5’10 Sutherland posted a total of 6 Goals & 14 Assists for a total of 20 points in 41 Games Played.

6’2 Espenell posted a total of 7 Goals and 8 Assists for a total of 15 points in 44 Games Played.
