JOSH GREEN ANNOUNCES COACHING STAFF AHEAD OF 2020 SEASON

Winnipeg, MB – Winnipeg Freeze Head Coach and General Manager Josh Green announced today that Will Kinsman will serve as his assistant coach for the 2020 season.  Green also announced that Tyler Brown will be on the staff as the goaltending coach.

Kinsman, a native of Winnipeg, spent the last six seasons as the Head Coach of the Vincent Massey Trojans in the Winnipeg High School Hockey League. Prior to coaching, Will attended and played hockey for Minot State University. 

“Will is a driven individual that will be a great addition to our staff,” said Josh Green, Head Coach and General Manager. “He takes pride in assisting with the development of players on and off the ice and will be a great fit for our culture.”

Joining Kinsman this season will be Tyler Brown who has joined the staff as the goaltending coach. Brown played four seasons in the Western Hockey League before joining the University of Manitoba Bisons for two seasons. 

“Tyler played the game at a high level and will be a great mentor for our goalies to work with.” said Josh Green Head Coach and General Manager.
