The Winnipeg Freeze are pleased to announce that 2006 Goaltender Nicholas Rempel has signed a player agreement for the 2023-24 Season.
The Freeze selected the 6’2 Goaltender 49th overall in the 2022 MJHL Draft. He backstopped the Winnipeg Wild U18 AAA to back- to-back league championships. The 6’2 Netminder posted a 20-8-0 record, 2.71 GAA and 900 save percentage, adding a 9-3 record in the playoffs to go along with a 2.27 GAA and 918 save percentage.
“First and foremost, Remps is one heck of a kid, his athleticism and calm make him a top end goalie and we are very excited to welcome him and his family to our program.” Said Head Coach and General Manager Jay Pylypuik.
