Josh Green Accepts Position in WHL

The Winnipeg Freeze Head Coach and General Manager Josh Green has accepted a position with the Winnipeg ICE in the Western Hockey League.  Josh will move into the role of Assistant Coach for the ICE.

“Anytime a player, coach, or member of your staff is able to move on to the next level, it is something that we are excited to celebrate as an organization.” said Jake Heisinger, Freeze Governor.

Heisinger added, “We will take some time to evaluate the current position and be diligent with the process of naming a new head coach.”

The Winnipeg Freeze are a proud member of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) which is one of ten Junior ‘A’ Hockey Leagues in Canada and is a proud member of the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL).  The MJHL exists to provide the best hockey development opportunities for players.
